The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library features a beautiful public outdoor terrace on its seventh floor, with ample seating and views of Bryant Park. I walked around up here for an hour, listening to the sounds of the city. I spent some time talking to a fellow father who was on the terrace, entertaining his fourteen-month-old.

The Stephen A. Schwarzman Building is the New York Public Library's flagship building. I was amazed by its grand ceilings, historical artifacts, and people using the ample research materials within this gorgeous building. Unfortunately, the library was closing soon after I entered, so I didn't spend as much time exploring as I would have liked.
