At the beginning of a familiy trip, I spent an evening at The Grey Eagle in Asheville, North Carolina. This is the venue at which my sister Jess works as a sound engineer. She crushed it.

I love photographing concerts, especially in intimate venues like this one. Musicians are some of the most passionate people, and it's rewarding to capture that passion in the form of facial expressions and bodily energy. Support local music!
