On January 7, 2023, my friend Bobby and I visited the New York Botanical Gardens in the Bronx, New York City. Every holiday season, the NYBG puts on an elaborate model train show, featuring gorgeous model buildings and huge model trains among the sprawling garden plants.

We spent three hours walking the garden grounds and among the trains. Follow along with Bobby and me, from the subway station to the exhibition to the delicious food at the end.
